People ask ... Are you retired?  Do you live overseas?  In short, are you living the life you're podcasting about?

The answer is, almost!  As of March 31st, 2025, I have an official retired!  Hooray Me!!  The career I'm retiring from is based in Denver, CO USA.  We plan on being abroad, perhaps permanently, starting on May 1st, 2026.  Why a full year?  Well, my early retirement came as a bit of a surprise to me, and it was two years and two months early!  Who knew?!  

And even though I'm retired, my wife is not, and maybe not be ready for another year!  Turns out the surprise early retirement was only good for one of us!

So, let's prepare together!  RADIO podcast episodes will feature the in's and out's of my preparation, along with fantastic and insightful destination focuses and interviews with world travelers and expats out "in the field."

We've got plenty to do and plenty to talk about in the next year - so let's get to it!

Our retire-abroad plan is different than most.  Many people pick a single destination, and this is great!  Use the RADIO Podcasts to help you choose!  We however, are picking 10 destinations.  That's right, 10!

We plan on a 5-year world tour, living in 10 different international destinations roughly 6 months at a time.  My wife and I love the world and can't wait to explore it in depth and style!  As avid scuba divers for the past 30 years, we've already been all over the world.  But like most Americans, we've done it two weeks at a time, because that's all we get for vacation!  So we've seen lots of places, but never gone truly in depth in any of them.  This will soon change!
